Boundary
A cryptographic timestamp or registry record is evidence about a specific byte-for-byte file. It is not a notarial act, does not identify the author, and should not be described as a qualified electronic timestamp unless a qualified trust service is actually used.
Privacy model
The main workflow calculates SHA-256 in your browser. HashDocket does not need the source document. Only the fingerprint, optional public label and public proof metadata are used for the registry.
