Boundary
Timestamping a file does not by itself prove copyright ownership or authorship. It can support a provenance trail when combined with normal records showing who created and controlled the work.
Privacy model
The main workflow calculates SHA-256 in your browser. HashDocket does not need the source document. Only the fingerprint, optional public label and public proof metadata are used for the registry.
